An Update: The Road Ahead
After ten rounds of chemotherapy, a bowel resection, and a liver transplant, I’ve been given a second chance at life. Right now, I’m on the right path, my body is healing, and everything is as it needs to be for me to live a long, healthy life. We know things can change quickly, so we’re not taking a single day for granted. 2025 has been filled with holidays, laughter, and time with the people we love, and I’m stepping into 2026 with gratitude, hope, and a promise to keep living fully, one day at a time.
My Story, My Purpose
When I was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer, I didn’t ask “why me?”—I asked, “what now?” That moment of clarity led to Stronger Than Cancer | The Podcast, a space for real conversations, honest stories, and connection for those navigating the cancer journey. And sometimes, the most meaningful days are the ones you didn’t plan at all.

As I shared my diagnosis, something incredible happened: love and support poured in from every direction, breaking through an invisible ceiling I never knew existed. People from all corners of my life reached out, reminding me just how much I mattered. This journey has shown me that love runs deeper than we often realise—we just need to open that door before life forces it open for us.
